Re-create the mobile app on the web, designing with various constraints in mind - unlike the mobile app. The gamified experience on the website must be engaging, easy to use and aid quick navigation.

Project Overview

My team and I created a beautifully curated web app - the design revolved around optimised context switching within different games, interactive dashboard view of all features and real-time trends and signals tracking.

Project Impact

Our UX strategies contributed to Trading Leagues' rapid growth, achieving over 1 million downloads within a month of launch. The platform's success underscores the effectiveness of combining gamification with user-centric design in the fintech space.

Why is this problem important?

A seamless, optimised flow in a game keeps the user engaged - maintaining game momentum and appeal to a limited attention span as 'every second of confusion costs engagement.' This keeps the experience fluid, sticky, and minimizes drop-offs.

Research and Design Methods

1. OBSERVATION - PARTICIPANT AND NON-PARTICIPANT
   We asked users to use the already developed mobile app - to observe and understand user behaviour and tendencies when playing a trading game. This was a very useful sprint, as we noticed many areas that required intervention in terms of navigation, additional features and chat support.
   
   

2. INTERVIEWS AND DIGITAL DIARIES
   When talking to users about their gaming behaviour, we understood the way a gamer or a stock-market enthusiast thinks about using and engaging with apps.
